The Thanksgiving holiday has passed and so has the tasty food and desserts. What’s your game plan for your nutrition and fitness for the rest of the year?
Do you want to maintain? Or, do you want to see improvement? If you want to see improvement, your actions must meet that expectation. You’ll have to make time for exercise and eat high quality protein, fat and carbs (PFC), eat every 3-4 hours and eat five to six times a day.
If you want to maintain where your body is currently at, you’ll still have to put in the effort, but your actions won’t have to be as high. You may be able to skip a few days of exercise and have a few extra “off plan” meals. But, you’ll still need to eat on plan as much as possible with the right PFC, every 3-4 hours, five to six times a day.
Keep stress to a minimum, drink plenty of water and get enough rest. No matter your game plan, if you know you’re going to a party, stay on plan for all meals leading up to that time. Make sure to follow up with a small balanced meal within 3-4 hours of the “off plan” meal.
